Description
Richard Durham, Riverside Elementary School second grader, grimaces as Medical Technologist Alice Sterling draws blood from his arm in connection with the polio vaccine tests. Blood samples were taken from 359 children at Riverside, Bluebonnet, Mary Louise Phillips and Circle Park Elementary Schools. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 8, 1954.
