Two guests at the 1954 Boy Scout Exposition watch with skepticism as Cub Scout Jackie Matthews, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Matthews, 362 Foch, makes cookies. The girls are, left to right, Ruby Jeanne Monroe, 8, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Monroe, 408 Meadowpark, and Polly Matthews, 7, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Matthews, 3405 Clary. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 8, 1954.
