In the array of military and industrial dignitaries at the American Ordnance Association dinner at Hotel Texas were, left to right, Major General John B. Montgomery, 8th Air Force commander, J. Earl Schaefer, vice president and general manager of Boeing Airplane Company's Wichita division, Lieutenant General Emmett O'Donnell Jr., Air Force deputy chief of staff, Warren W. Wells, president of Lone Star Post, and Assistant Secretary of the Army, George H. Roderick. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 6, 1954.
