Description

Mrs. Mary Bowden, center, became the first patient at the new Azle Clinic and Hospital. Her injury was a cut finger. Dr. W. B. McElroy and Mrs. Kathleen Waits, clinic nurse, delayed dedication ceremonies while they bandaged the wound. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 2, 1954.
