Mr. and Mrs. J. Lee Humphrey, 3754 Winfield Dr., announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Betty Jane Humphrey, to Robert W. Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Palmer, 3601 Shelby Dr. Miss Humphrey attended Texas State College for Women. Her fiancé attended Texas A&M College. The wedding reception was planned to take place at the Humphrey home. Mrs. Humphrey was honored at a miscellaneous shower given by Miss Caldwell, a TSCW classmate, in Capps Dormitory on the campus in Denton. The guest list included 50 partners. Miss Humphrey is shown smiling to the camera. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 9, 1954.
