Assignment of Lt. Col. John M. House Jr. to the Fort Worth Quartermaster Depot as executive officer was announced by Col. Edwin B. Kearns Jr., commander officer. House just returned from a 3-year duty tour in Europe, where his last assignment was executive officer to the Quartermaster, U.S. Forces in Austria. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 28, 1954.
