Description

The Summit-to-Henderson leg of the East-West Freeway will be soon open to traffic. The picture, taken from the Ballinger St. overpass looking east, shows workmen putting finishing touches on the super highway. Engineers say the route will be open between May 1 and May 15. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 22, 1954.
