Description
Meteorologist A. J. Hinkle of the Weather Bureau staff at Amon Carter Field watches a ceilometer "report" on its cloud-sleuthing. The electronic equipment gives warning for aircraft when the cloud ceiling closes in over the north-south runway approach. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 21, 1954.
