Description
Seated at the radarscope of the Fort Worth radar station which began operating Wednesday at Amon Carter Field, Meteorologist A. J. Knarr watches dials for signs of a tornado or other storm "echoes". The picture is a composite, the lighted dials shot in the darkened room, with Knarr and the control board later flashed. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 21, 1954.
