Description
End of the trail came an hour later when police and volunteers secured the cow to a telephone pole at Columbus and N. W. 22nd. At the left is Pryor Reeves, one of the captures, and at far right, in dark shirt, is 17-year-old Buddy Grist, who was the first person to finally rope the escaper. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 20, 1954.
