Mayor Deen signs a proclamation designating April 24 as "Official Ticket Sales Rally Day" for Boy Scouts of Longhorn Council. With him at the signing ceremony were, left to right, Terry Gish of 5017 Locke, a Cub Scout of Pack 18, Yucca District; Mike Rooke of 3832 Winslow, Scout from Troop 21, Horned Frog District, and David W. Ashley Jr. of 4436 Lovell, an Explorer Scout of Post 2016. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 11, 1954.
