Description

Citizens of some counties might want a courthouse reflecting the novelties of modern architecture, but Shackelford County folk are proud of their 1883 county edifice. It was made of stone quarried only six miles away, has never had a crack in its walls. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 11, 1954.
