B. T. Johnson, left, awards committee chairman of the Cosmopolitan Club, presented a plaque Wednesday night to Wendell F. Hammarley naming him "outstanding Cosmo of 1953" for his work in the club's youth and underprivileged program. The award was made at a dinner meeting at Hotel Texas. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 16, 1954.
