Description

These former regular Army majors, stationed here as advisors to local National Guard units were wearing the silver leaves of lieutenant colonels after 4th Army headquarters in Fort Sam Houston announced their promotions. They are Canning C. Pelouze, left, and Eugene Saffold. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 15, 1954.
