Newly elected State Representative Jim Moore, seated right, was honored by other Tarrant County Representatives at a dinner party in the Penthouse Club of Fortune Arms Saturday night. Seated beside Moore is W. C. (Red) Cowen. Standing, left to right, are Don Kennard, Scott P. Sayers, Joe Pyle, and Vernon E. (Gene) Smith. All will be on hand when the special session opens in Austin Monday. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 13, 1954.
