Description
Pictured is a deep gully on the Massey farm near the Webb community. Twelve years ago a tractor could cross easily where this 20-foot ditch is now. In the background, a bulldozer is pushing trees and dirt in to fill up the ditch that takes up about 4 acres. Only a small portion of the ditch is shown in this photo. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 12, 1954.
