President E. H. Hereford of Arlington State College crowns Shirley Eberly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Eberly of Arlington, queen of the 1953-54 ASC Student body in a coronation ceremony at the school. Miss Eberly's escort was Bill Minix of Dallas, captain in the college ROTC unit. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 12, 1954.
