Description

Firemen from Lake Worth, Azle, and River Oaks fought a blaze at Pan American Fireworks Company on Jacksboro Highway. An electrical short probably caused the fire, which damaged three sheds containing machinery and paper. A powder shed stands about 100 feet distant, but there was no explosion, and no one was hurt. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 6, 1954.
