Varying brim widths, crown style and colors mark the hat picture for the season, four of which are shown above. At bottom, the newest color, cordovan brown with contrasting carbon band; left, a bantam-weight model with moderate brim, gray-blue in hue; top center, an Italian import in muflone with a yet wider brim, and right, an extra-light, star-gray casual or sport type. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition March 10, 1954.
