Seven-year-old Rickey Blanton is making sure that his grandmother, Mrs. C. A. Blanton, will visit his second grade room at Mary Louise Phillips Elementary. And Rickey points out pictures of other schools for his five-year-old sister, Cindy Ann Blanton. The youngster won't be satisfied until his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Blanton also visit Phillips during Public Schools Week. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 28, 1954.
