Mrs. Walter E. Bryson looks up smiling from some papers she is grading for her English classes at Texas Christian University. Mrs. Bryson emphasizes spelling and vocabulary in her freshman classes in an effort to improve students, whom she calls " the worst spellers we've ever had". Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 3, 1954.
