    Description

Bill Norton, of Weatherford, discovered a dismembered and dust-covered old violin hanging in a German cobbler's shop, while on military duty overseas. He bought it for $4, and later discovered inside it the hardly readable, but exciting, Stradivarius label. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 24, 1954.
