Naylor, left, assistant commander of the 49th Armored Division, Texas National Guard, receives the deed to a block square site on the South Side for a new $160,000 armory from J. E. Foster Jr. in the latter's office. A scale model of building to be erected is shown on the desk. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 23, 1954.
