Description
Business was not as good as it was at the top of the boom, but we're doing all right in Howard County. Said Ira L. Thurman, left, vice president and cashier of the First national Bank of Big Spring as he talked to Joe A. Clarke, vice president of the Fort Worth National Bank prior to the annual meeting of District 7 of the Texas Bankers Association, which opened at Hotel Texas. Mrs. Thurman was an interested listener. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 22, 1954.
