Frank Rimmer, a veteran peace officer, announced as a candidate for constable of Precinct 1 in the Democratic primary. The post is now held by Constable W. W. (Peck) Wilson. Rimmer resigned as a sheriff's deputy, after 14 years of duty, to make the race. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 17, 1954.
