These men, who are in Fort Worth for the Star-Telegram's 18th annual State Golden Gloves tournament, made regional tournaments click all over the state and brought their winners here. From the left they are, back row: Harry Gilstrap, Chuck Whitlock, Graham Ball, Ben Peeler, Duke Nally, Bill Scurlock, George Breazeale, Bill Williams, Groaner Pitts and Bruce Layer; front row: J. B. Nichols, Ray Osborne, Joe Scherer, E. C. (Doc) Osborn, Bill Bellamy, Johnny Janes and Jack Holden. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening February 18, 1954.
