These three members of Fort Worth Voiture 1185, Forty & Eight, huddled on the rear platform of the American Legion organization's newly-acquired sound-equipped bus just before pulling out for the annual state "Box Car Pilgrimage" to Austin. Left to right are Bill Martin, conductor; Joe Matthews, grand lampiste, and Ed McCloskey, correspondent. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 14, 1954.
