Description
Linda Ruth Clements, 7, representing the children of Fort Worth, stands near a plaque honoring the 16 charter members of the Fort Worth Council of Administrative Women in Education who initiated the Children's Museum. A burning Candle, symbolic of the museum, was placed beneath the plaque during dedication ceremonies for the new museum. Linda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Odelle Clements of 5201 Lovell. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 15, 1954.
