Description
Promotion of E. W. Lewis, E. L. Zihlman and N. M. Faulkner Jr. was announced by C. B. Williams of Fort Worth, manager of the Texas Company's West Texas producing division. Lewis (left) and Zihlman are shown in this picture. Lewis was promoted to assistant to the division manager, with Zihlman succeeding him as division land and lease man. Zihlman was succeeded by Faulkner as district land man at Midland. Lewis joined Texaco in July 1914 as clerk in the land department at Houston, subsequently serving in that department as head clerk and chief clerk. He was transferred to Fort Worth September 1, 1937 as assistant division land and lease man for the West Texas division, moving up to division land and lease man, April 1, 1947. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 14, 1954.
