Description
King of the Hollow, owned by Mrs. C. J. Thompson of San Antonio and ridden by Luke Overly of Dallas, won the $1,500 five-gaited champion saddle horse stake at the Southwestern exposition and Fat Stock Show. Reserve went to King of Revelery owned by W. C. and Ott Madlener of Topeka, Kansas. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 8, 1954.
