James Brown, left, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brown of Weatherford, and Gary Lynn Acord, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Acord of Dallas, strain their necks to get a better look at Western Star Roy Rogers when he arrived to present a safety award to S. S. Dillow Elementary School. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 8, 1954.
