The quarters of the J. D. Hudgins Brahman cattle entry won the grand prize for the orderliness and cleanliness of quarters, stalls and animals in the cattle department of the 1954 Stock Show. Herdsman in charge of the Hudgins cattle is LaRue Douglas of Hungerford. Left to right, Douglas, and Assistant Herdsmen Howard Allen, Clyde Goudeau, and David Garza.
