Stripling's Department Store bought the champion lamb of the stock, left, for $750. Shown with the animal is W. C. Stripling Jr., left, who bought the animal, and Bobby Hillery of Waurika, Oklahoma, who exhibited the champion. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 6, 1954.
