At the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show, a day was dedicated to children. Here are shown two Polytechnic High School sophomores sharing cotton candy at the rodeo. At left is Rita Kay Stewart of 3959 E. Lancaster. Her friend is Margie Dodson of 3401 Cardinal Ridge. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 6, 1954.
