Haddon's M. Kate, 3-year-old cow, owned by J. T. Lively and Son of Dallas was named grand champion Guernsey female at the stock show. Jack W. Lively, 18, grandson of the owner is at the halter, and A. L. Darnell of Texas A&M, dairy cattle superintendent, left, holds the banner. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 5, 1954.
