Grand Champion Angus female of the stock show is A. V. Elmaretta, a 2-year-old heifer, shown by Angus Valley Farms of Tulsa. With the animal, left to right, are A. E. Darlow, Angus judge; Frank Richards of Chicago, secretary of the American Angus Association; Ray Hardesty, manager of Angus Valley, and Earl Dugger, Angus Valley herdsman. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 4, 1954.
