J. B. Deakins, left, superintendent of gatemen at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show, welcomed these friends back to the show. Left to right, are Deakins, Mrs. Tom Yates, Mrs. J. R. Deakins and J. R. Deakins. The group lives at Chattanooga, Tennesse, and came to the show last year. They liked it so well they returned again. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 3, 1954.
