    Description

    Grand champion steer of the Southwestern Exposition and fat Stock Show for 1954 is this 1, 010 pound Aberdeen Angus, BPR Billy B. The prize-winning animal is owned by Black Post Ranch of Olathe, Kansas, and exhibited by George Crenshaw. Left to right are W. R. Watt, president-manager of the show; Don Good of Kansas State College, steer judge; Frank Richards; Chicago, secretary of the Aberdeen Angus Breeders Association; Mrs. George Crenshaw; Milt Miller of Brady, association field man, and Crenshaw. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 2, 1954.
