Three longtime Hereford breeders presented honorary memberships in the Texas Hereford Association were Dr. C. H. Harris of Fort Worth, left; Mrs. Rupert Hardridge of Abilene, and George D. Keith of Wichita Falls, right. W. J. Largent of Merkel, second from left, made the presentation at the annual meeting of the association. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 3, 1954.
