Miss Andy Pickens, left, 2429 Colonial Parkway, pulls a neat bow tie for Miss Helen Kayler, 3816 Linden, as two young women prepare to ride Palominos. Miss Pickens rode in the Palomino pleasure stallions class, where she won first prize. Miss Kayler won second in the Pleasure class. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 2, 1954.
