Mosieur Joe, a 6-year-old, won the American Quarter horse stallion grand championship in halter class judging at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Making the award to owner W. G. Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas, is R. S. Hollingsworth, left, of Amarillo, secretary of the American Quarter Horse Association. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 31, 1954.
