Bowlers on the first shift in the annual city tournament pause to hear instructions before starting competition at B&R Bowlanes. A couple of minutes after this, the establishment was filled with thunder as the pins started flying. The tournament will last three week-ends. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 3, 1954.
