Description
Marion's Girl, owned by Marion Flynt of Midland and ridden by Buster Welch, also of Midland, won the registered American Quarter horse cutting horse contest at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. The 5-year-old mare also was tops with 226 points in the open cutting horse eliminations. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 29, 1954.
