Miss Jacque Mercer, 19, Miss America titlist, presented miniature cedar chest to the five beauties she helped pick for Fort Worth news photographers. The contestants, shown dressed for a swim, will compete with a similar group from Dallas for Miss Press Photographer of Dallas-Fort Worth area. Left to right, back row, are Shirley Price and Evelyn Nitsch, and in front are Patsy Norcross, Jo Anne English, Miss Mercer and Lois Gaulden. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 13, 1950.
