Mrs. James I. Perry looks on, as the Distinguished Flying Cross is pinned on her husband, a Marine Corps Reserve combat pilot, by Captain Dalton W. Hielscher Sr., inspector-instructor at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Training Center. Captain Perry won the medal in Korea last July. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition January 19, 1954.
