Description
Mrs. Mildred Jean Louise Grady, 34, daughter of Mr. J. R. Roden, is shown with ring on her finger and tears in her eyes after the death of her rival for the affections of her fiancé, William Edwards Adams, a Carswell Air Base Staff Sargent. Mrs. Grady and her rival, Mrs. Mary Hertha Collins were reportedly in a fight over the air man that resulted in Collin's death. At the time publication, Mrs. Grady vowed to continue on with her wedding plans despite the incident. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 13, 1950.
