Description
Apparently none the worse for the floodwaters, this business has been cleaned up, after a year from the flood of May 17, 1949. The owner, incidentally, did not ask or receive aid for his $100,000 damage. Dave Hicks the owner of Dave Hicks Trailer Company, 2200 W. 7th says thirty-two trailers were destroyed but the business did recover nicely. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 14, 1950.
