Diamond Hill's Bobby Spears, right, lands with smashing right to the head of Claude McClaren of Handley in high school featherweight fight Friday night on the Star-Telegram's Regional Golden Gloves program. McClaren came back, however, to win on third-round technical knockout. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning January 16, 1954.
