Description
Fort Worth police department was cited for its big reduction in pedestrian deaths during 1952. A special American Automobile Association plaque honoring the city for its accident curtailment during that year was presented to Police Chief Hightower, left, by City Manager Jones, right. Fort Worth had only nine pedestrian deaths during 1952, a reduction of 19 from the previous year. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening January 13, 1954.
