Description
John D. Tyler in robe and slippers in a wheelchair return in front of his house, which he defended with gunfire. He is was wounded in the gunfire that killed his wife and left him and Deputy Constable Bob Burklow wounded. Deputy Burklow was at the house to attempt to evict Tyler from his home, December 23. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening January 08, 1954.
